About Archisha
I am a 3rd year medicine student and have been tutoring for 3 years. I achieved all 7s (As) and above for GCSES, including 3 9s (A**) and 5 8s (A*s). I also got all As for A Level (Biology, Chemistry and English Literature.
I have a passion for learning and academics and strive to share this with students.

My teaching method is interactive and tailored to individual learning styles. In one hour I aim to spend a couple mins building a rapport with my student and then 40-45 mins teaching and then 10-15 mins recap and consolidation. While teaching I like to have a starter to make sure any foundation skills surrounding the main topic are mastered before tackling the main bulk of the lesson. Then i spend some time talking about a concept then asking students questions frequently in order to assess their understanding of what I am explaining whilst also keeping them on their toes. I like to ask them to repeat back to me what I said in their own words if I am covering a difficult concept. Then there should be time to practice or apply the knowledge they have attained. In the recap i like to ask students for key points from the lesson and talk about what was more difficult in the lesson.
At the end of the lesson I will always email the carer to update them on what we covered in the lesson and homework set and offer time to discuss any concerns or questions they may have.
