About Amaan
My name is Amaan, and I am a third year medical student at King’s College London. Having achieved A*A*A in Biology Chemistry and Maths at A-level also, I am very familiar with how the exams work and the best way to revise content to achieve maximum grades.
I am passionate about all the subjects I took at A level and would like students to understand that with hard work and a bit of guidance from myself, they too will be able to reach their ambitions.

Since the beginning of Year 10 (nearly 6 years ago now!) I’ve explored countless study methods to achieve top grades, and over time I believe I’ve developed one of the most effective ways to learn - centred on active recall and maximising productivity.
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is the strong relationships I build with my students. Thanks to my friendly approach, lessons are not only engaging but also enjoyable, and I make a real effort to get to know each student as a whole - not just in one subject area. This helps me tailor lessons to their personality, interests, and goals, which in turn makes learning feel more natural and motivating.
My teaching style is interactive and encouraging: I ask lots of questions, provide plenty of resources, and maintain a supportive atmosphere where students feel confident to take risks and grow. Beyond the lessons themselves, my tutees also get free access to the high-quality resources I’ve made, including specification-specific flashcards, detailed notes, and more. I know these work, because they helped me achieve ((concealed information)) at GCSE and (A*A*A) at A levels - ultimately securing me a place to study medicine at my dream university. By using my materials, students save valuable time making notes and can instead focus on exam technique and practice.
Having mentored in the past, I feel well-equipped to teach at all levels up to A level. I’m also experienced in adapting to different learning styles, ensuring each student can succeed in a way that works best for them.
