About Alex
I am 20 years old, studying a Mechanical Engineering Masters degree at the University of Nottingham. I acquired a 9 in maths at GCSE, and a 9,9 in double science, as well as ABB in physics, maths and chemistry at level. I have a younger sister who I tutor, and also have volunteered teaching children rugby.

I would look to break all concepts and theories down to their basics, building up a strong, underlying understanding of maths or sciences as a whole. I use a lot of analogies or metaphors to help with understanding, ensuring that students would be able to picture a relatable situation in their head, and apply it to a trickier concept.
