About Kayleigh
I’m a passionate and hardworking Maths student and genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I understand that not everyone enjoys the subject, but I believe that with the right support and increased confidence, most students can come to appreciate it or even enjoy it. I have experience working with students of all abilities and always adapt my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs. My aim is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I care deeply about each student’s progress and take real pride in seeing their confidence and skills grow over time.

I focus on building confidence through consistent practice and personalised guidance. My lessons are tailored to suit each student’s individual learning style, whether they thrive on visual explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, or independent problem-solving. By adapting to how your child learns best, I aim to make challenging concepts feel manageable and even enjoyable. Lessons typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student's needs and attention span. Both students and parents receive regular feedback and progress updates to ensure clear communication and continued improvement. I currently work as Teaching Support at Bristol Uni, tutoring 2nd Year modules including Applied Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Programming. In this role, I lead classes of over 10 students and support them through complex mathematical topics. Previously, I spent a year at a tuition centre in London, where I taught GCSE Maths to small groups of around 8 students. There, I developed tailored lesson plans and worksheets that addressed individual learning goals and academic targets. I privately tutor both in-person (if Bristol based) and online and tutor all the way up to A Level Maths and Further Maths. I have experience working with SEND students and welcome students of all abilities.
