About Laura
Hi! I’m a Mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh with a strong passion for Maths and Physics. I achieved A* grades in both subjects at A-Level and enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts. Through my experience working in schools, I have developed a patient and approachable teaching style. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple steps and helping students build both their understanding and confidence.

I offer friendly, engaging Maths and Physics tutoring for school-age students in Scotland, from primary level through to National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. As a Mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh, with A* grades in both Maths and Physics at A-Level, I have a strong academic foundation and experience supporting students in educational settings. I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual needs, breaking down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and building confidence alongside understanding. Lessons typically last one hour, with a focus on active problem-solving, exam technique and developing independent learning skills.
