About Samuel
I'm an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering student at QUT. At QUT, I have and currently am volunteering as a Peer Learning Facilitator where I help students of STEM backgrounds in understanding concepts from their units.
I have also participated in running workshops for particular engineering units which involved clarification of taught content or assessment help.
I have mainly tutored first-year university students, though I am willing to tutor anyone willing to expand their knowledge and skillsets.

I've been casually tutoring over the last 2 years mostly teaching calculus at an introductory university level. From tutoring students of varying backgrounds, I have seen their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills evolve, allowing them to achieve beyond their desired outcomes.
These outcomes are achieved by focusing on a strong conceptual understanding, which is built upon by relating theoretical ideas to real-life applications. This foundation is extended by solving problems where I take a guiding position that helps you build confidence in your own skills.
