About Josna
As a tutor, I aim to be both supportive and effective. Having navigated the demands of high school and competitive academic environments myself, I understand the pressures students face and the importance of having the right guidance. Creating a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling difficult topics, while maintaining a structured and results-driven approach, is central to my teaching style.
Beyond academics, I have extensive mentoring and leadership experience through my roles as High School Captain, a member of the Student Council, and my involvement in multiple student societies at RCSI. These experiences have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills, allowing me to connect effectively with students from a variety of backgrounds.

My tutoring approach is based on the strategies that helped me achieve top academic results. I focus first on building a strong understanding of key concepts and ensuring students have a solid foundation before progressing to more advanced topics. At the start of each lesson, we briefly refresh on previously covered material to reinforce learning and strengthen long-term retention. Once the fundamentals are established , we apply them through practice questions and exam-style problems, carefully analyzing mistakes to identify gaps in understanding and improve performance. Throughout the process, I'll ensure to tailor my teaching style to each student's individual needs.
