About Amaan
I am currently a second year medical student at the University of Nottingham. I also hold an International Baccalaureate diploma from King Edward’s School, Birmingham.
I have an A* in GCSE maths, chemistry, biology and physics.
I currently tutor a set of students face to face and have seen them flourish from low grades to A-A*s, so I wish to extend my service to others through a virtual platform.
I also offer tutoring for International Baccalaureate Diploma Program students!

My teaching style is flexible; always adapting to the needs of a student to better teach and guide them.
I typically start off by gauging the student's current knowledge to find any major gaps and aim to start working from there. I then take a step-by-step approach to completing the entire syllabus, one key topic at a time - supplementing teaching with worked examples, past paper questions, and hand-drawn notes.
I will then set a few exam-style questions or past paper questions for them to attempt over the week to ensure they are well-prepared for assessments and exams. I am also available to be contacted throughout the week at no extra charge to answer any questions.
