Hi! My name is Danish and I am in my first year of studying Mathematics with Economics at The London School of Economics. At A-level, I achieved 4A*’s in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics, and having completed my A-levels recently I firmly believe that I can aid students with their current curriculum and spark a passion for their subject. I have nearly 2 years of tutoring experience in which I have assisted many students to go from C’s to A/A* in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Economics.
My main style of teaching is to unearth a curiosity in students regarding the “why” rather than the “what” because allowing students to question why something works instead of accepting so creates passion for the subject. In my lessons, I engage with the students on a deeper level rather than reading off a textbook which can become monotonous and hinder the student’s passion for the subject. Furthermore, when it comes to difficult concepts I tend to break down the problem into the basics as it is essential for the basics to be secured when dealing with difficult concepts
As my student, I truly believe I can pass on my love for the subject to you and aid you to unearth a curiosity for the subject and allow you to question "why" this works. Hence, allowing you to excel in your studies.
A standard session is 1hr long and this session is structured to completely cater to your needs whether it be conceptually understanding a topic/exam practice or revision. I have experience tutoring all age groups thus I am able to effectively alter my lessons based on the student's age group.
