About Nabil
I am currently a penultimate year Maths with Econ undergraduate at UCL. In high school, I was a student of a brilliant and dedicated Additional Mathematics teacher who seemed to be able to share his love of Maths with just about everyone around him, especially his students. I gained inspiration from him to begin tutoring high school children in Maths as well.
I have previously tutored one 3rd Form (Year 9/10 equivalent) student in Maths in Kuala Lumpur. Initially being rather slow on some basic Algebra and Geometry, I managed to guide him towards becoming more comfortable with using unknowns and visualisation to help solve problems.
Besides the Maths, I am also more than happy to tutor in Accounting and Economics. Though I do not have prior tutoring experience in these subjects, I was the frequent go-to person in high school for most of my friends who had questions, and so I would say I am decently experienced at explaining Accounting and Economics concepts in an easy-to-digest way.
In the end, underlying all these is my belief that given the correct mentoring, any student can see that Maths, Accounting and Economics really aren't as difficult as they may first appear to be, and I owe it to Mr. Abu from high school to turn this belief into reality.
