About Arthur
After finishing my studies and graduating, I am planning to become a teacher in further education. I really enjoy balancing my time between academic study and my hobbies such as climbing, cooking and creative writing and my social life.
I think maths is an incredibly diverse and interesting subject which has countless applications in the real world. Learning mathematics provides you with an extremely valuable skill set of problem-solving, reasoning and so much more. Overcoming the challenges that come with the journey of improving in this subject is especially rewarding, and I want every student to be able to feel like they are capable of understanding mathematics and being fluent in it.

Extensive focus on understanding and taking an intuitive approach to grasp the fundamentals well. Lesson length is typically 1 - 1.5 hours at any level from GCSE to Further Maths A Level.
I have experience as a personal tutor, having conducted lessons online through MyTutor and am currently studying Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield, having achieved A*AA for my A Levels.
