About Luuk
At the moment I have been tutoring for about 8 years and I have done this at Havo / VWO and university level. I also teach tutorials in neurophysics at university level for senior students. In addition to work experience, I have also followed training courses in teaching for groups and on an individual basis.

I try to tailor my lessons to the student as much as possible. Every student studies in his/her own way and there are big differences in the problems students have while learning. The first lesson I will therefore sit down together to find out what exactly goes wrong (understanding the material, method of approach, difficulty with tests / exams, etc ...), in this way we can make a plan to to improve this and hopefully increase study results.
Of course it is important to also enjoy the topics you are studying, even if it is a difficult subject, and through my own enthusiasm I hope to convey this to my students.
All in all, I always try to give instructive, fun tutoring in which I look for the student's pitfalls together with the student. I will then try to give a good, clear explanation and assist in improving results overall.
