About Poppy
During my final year of sixth form, I mentored younger students, helping them build confidence and develop their understanding of key topics. This experience strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of adapting explanations to suit different learners.
I specialise in supporting GCSE students and aim to create a friendly, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My focus is on building confidence, improving understanding, and helping students develop effective study and exam techniques that will benefit them beyond the classroom.

Hi! I'm a second-year Law student at the University of Birmingham, offering online tutoring for GCSE Maths, English Language, English Literature, and Sociology, as well as A-level Sociology.
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, focusing on building confidence, strengthening subject knowledge, and improving exam technique. I use clear explanations, practice questions, past papers, and revision strategies to help students achieve their goals.
I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and Sociology, Grades 8 in English Language and Literature, and an A* in A-level Sociology, giving me a strong understanding of the current curriculum and exam requirements.
Lessons are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities and A-level Sociology students seeking extra support or top grades.
