About Samkelo
I am an outspoken individual who thrives on being able to interact with people of all ages. I place the highest value on education and believe every one can enjoy and thrive in the educational system given that the content is delivered in a way that is suitable to the student. On a more personal level, I have lived in Cape Town since matriculating from Kearsney College in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Through my time in Cape Town and at UCT, I have found a deep love for natural beauty that the Western Cape has to offer. I spend my free time exploring beaches with friends.

I'm a unique as a tutor as I believe in a student-centred approach. I prefer to focus on the student, what they are struggling with and what it is they wish to work on instead of trying to follow a strict lesson structure. I believe this helps the student achieve the most out of their time with me. English is my first language, however I am also fluent in isiZulu and isiXhosa, with an intermediate proficiency in Afrikaans. For your connivence, lessons will take place via an online platform, such as Zoom, so I can meet with students all over South Africa. I have access to an array of past papers and notes that will be used to as lesson material to help students reach their Mathematics goals.
