About Mika
I achieved all 9s in GCSE Triple Science, Maths and Further Maths, and also earned a Silver Award in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge in Year 11. During sixth form, I achieved a Bronze Award in the Chemistry Olympiad and have been actively involved in my school’s Biology Society, while continuing to explore biology beyond the A-level syllabus because of my genuine interest in the subject.
I am available to teach GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths, as well as A-level Chemistry, in which I achieved an A grade. My aim is not only to help students understand the content, but also to develop effective exam techniques and build confidence in tackling challenging questions.
I also have experience with the UCAS application process and am happy to support A-level students considering STEM university courses, particularly with choosing courses, preparing applications and making the most of their academic and extracurricular experiences.
Beyond academics, I can also provide guidance on finding work experience and writing effective CVs. Through proactive cold emailing, I successfully secured 10+ work experience opportunities, and I am happy to share the strategies and approaches that helped me do this.

I’m also happy to support students with schoolwork outside of lessons where possible. Most importantly, you’ll receive honest, constructive feedback and personalised advice every week, so you always know what you’re doing well, what needs improvement, and how to progress towards your target grades.
