About Jonah
I graduated with a first in my undergraduate and a distinction in my master's studying mathematics at Cambridge. I passed both the STEP and MAT exams, and have 3 years online tuition experience, specialising in these entrance exams. I offer advice on all parts of the admission process, including personal statements, interview preparation and admission papers.

I try and develop a ‘problem solving’ mindset by working together through challenging questions; a skill that is required for anyone that wants to pursue maths/physics at good universities. My lessons are relaxed/casual, since it's important students approach problems with an open mind. I especially focus on Oxbridge entrance exams and interview technique - it wasn't long ago when I went through the system, and along the way found good (and bad!) ways to prepare. Anyone thinking about aiming for top universities for maths, send me a message!

Perfect! Jonah is a really positive tutor, with a genuine enthusiasm for Maths. He is clearly very able with maths, and also an excellent communicator. Very much look forward to our next session!
Perfect! Jonah is a professional young man: sending invoice on weekly basis is very self-regulated. He is patient in answering the questions, and willing to work with the student to come up a plan.

Jonah is a fantastic tutor, he's great at explaining concepts in ways that make them easy to understand. He's also experienced in helping with interview prep and admissions tests for Oxbridge.
