About Beck
I am a Senior Data Scientist who works weekdays from 9-5. As a former quant, I am someone who uses a high degree of mathematics on a daily basis when working on financial models. Therefore, it is imperative that I keep up to date with the latest mathematical advancements and topics in the field. As a results, I am an associate member of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications IMA.
I have been programming for over 10 years now, using Python, R, SAS, SQL, C and C++.

As a PASS mentor and student organiser, I have taught university level mathematics for both single and joint honour degrees across the mathematics department. My approach is to ask students for specific questions and topics they need help with prior to the lesson - we will then work together at a pace that suits best.
