1st Class Masters - Spanish and EFL teacher - Spanish tutor with Elisabete Joaquina

I’ve been taught Spanish by Elisabete for two years; not only has my level of Spanish significantly improved but I’ve also really enjoyed the lessons. We have always tackled a range of interesting subjects even when my level of Spanish was basic. Elisabete is also happy to tailor the content to match any particular interests or helpful vocabulary areas. She has always been very patient and happy to explain things in a number of ways until I’ve understood them and always been able to answer questions even if they are on very specific points or language conventions.

I participated in a small group of learners keen to improve our Spanish conversation at an adult college, the group was taught by Elisabete.
She is an excellent tutor. She is adaptable and encouraging. She managed the diverse levels of knowledge within our group with understanding and sensitivity. A particular skill was her ability to provide clear and knowledgeable explanations on points of grammar. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I enrolled on a Spanish Beginners Course at my local adult learning college. I was very impressed by Elisabete’s teaching style especially her attention to detail in regards to pronunciation. It was a lively and friendly class and my Spanish improved in leaps and bounds.

Elisabete taught me conversational Spanish during evening classes and she was very motivating and positive. She included current events in her lessons so we were able to talk and write about a wide variety of topics that would be interesting. During the lessons, she used a selection of games, speaking exercises, You tube clips to practise listening, writing exercises to practise grammar and also opinion writing. Each lesson had a few activities included and she was always able to give detailed feedback on what we had done. This feedback was given in a very positive manner so we left the lesson feeling motivated about the subject. She is a very good teacher.

Finding Elizabeth has worked for me. She is a first class Spanish coach enabling me to build my confidence to speak the language more and learn in a safe and informal on-line environment.
She builds the lessons around my needs as a beginner, we have some fun and I am very happy with my progress. I want to spend more time in Spain and Spanish speaking countries in the future and her background and training is ideal for my needs.
