About Grace
I have been extremely fortunate to have had some incredible teachers impact my education and spark a foundational passion for learning; this is exactly why I love tutoring; I do it in hopes of passing on that same love for knowledge.
I have a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh and am currently completing a graduate-entry law degree at the same institution. I am a published academic, creative and discursive writer who received unconditional offers to all universities applied to for both my undergraduate in science and now post-graduate in law.
I fully believe that everyone has the power within themselves to be a dedicated and successful student and I'd love to help my students achieve and unlock that potential. All students I have had in the past have surpassed their desired grades and/or accepted offers at top-ranking universities.

As a professional and experienced tutor, I aim to make teaching as engaging as possible; learning should not be a hardship, it should be a stepping stone to get your student the life they want!
My lessons last an hour and are divided as such:
• Introduction: a friendly catch-up that additionally covers any academic updates.
• Recap of what was taught the week before to ensure a solid understanding before moving onto new material.
• A pre-prepared lesson best suited to your students’ needs that weaves in new information and skills, builds upon old knowledge, and consolidates the new through use of solo and worked through examples.
• Every lesson finishes with time dedicated to working through a past paper question or likewise as a team to help apply the knowledge learnt practically.
My lessons can be personalised for a variety of ages, and I have experience teaching students between the ages of 5 and 20.

I have known Grace all my life, and I can confidently say she is one of the most intelligent and creative individuals I have ever met, not to mention kind, considerate and trustworthy. I recently listened to her speak as a moderator for a panel event at the British Library, and she stood out amongst all the speakers for how she spoke with eloquence and wisdom about complex topics like media literacy, education and AI. There is no one I would recommend more as a tutor!
