The length of the lessons can vary from 30 -60 minutes and involves various engaging materials to help nurture and maintain the interest of the student. Techniques include mini-quizzes before each lesson and providing worked-out solutions and answers that show how to get higher marks. I will get the student to engage by getting them to talk through an example to me, and provide feedback. I. will provide additional materials tailored to the student's needs, depending on whether they are visual learners or verbal learners, etc.
I have a first-class degree in Economics and have tutored other students both during my uni times as a mentor and during my time in sixth-form. I have also travelled to India where I taught English to a school of children in a rural village.
I will be open to teaching students of all levels, including GCSE, A-LEVEL and Degree.
