About Nomi

My name is Nomi Reabold-Miller, and I am a senior at Liberty High School. I have a strong passion for the language arts, which I pursue through AP and Dual Enrollment courses as I prepare to major in journalism in college. Beyond the classroom, I am an active member of my school's DECA chapter, have completed summer journalism coursework online through Georgetown University, and work at a local children's toy store.

I have two wonderful younger siblings, Jackson (4) and Meadow (9), who both navigate learning disabilities. Supporting my sister through her nightly homework challenges has made me a remarkably patient, adaptable, and empathetic tutor. When I am not studying or working, I enjoy practicing yoga, doing Pilates, and drawing. I look forward to working with you and supporting your student's learning journey!

About the lesson

I use a tailored approach to tutoring. Having grown up with two special needs siblings, I deeply understand how to navigate homework frustration and adapt my teaching style to each student. When a student struggles with homework, I prioritize it, ensuring they not only get the correct answers, but truly understand the material and build long lasting knowledge.

I emphasize making reading and writing fun by recommending interest tailored books and creating engaging prompts for families who want extra practice. I specialize in tutoring Kindergarten through 8th grade. (I do not work with high school students or children under kindergarten under any circumstances). My lesson plans are fully customized around each student's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Parent feedback is crucial to me, and I plan to work closely with families to keep every child on the path to success.
