About Thomas
I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia where I double majored in Leadership & Public Policy and Psychology. In high school, I self-studied my way to a 1580 SAT, providing an amazing boost as I applied to college. I recognize how stressful test preparation can be at times, and I'm here to help guide you throughout that process! I have held a number of professional positions throughout my time in college (Research Assistant in a Psych Lab, an Intern at a Political Consulting Firm, and a Personal Attendant for a child with special needs, among other roles!). Additionally, I volunteered with my church and a nonprofit where I helped individuals develop computer skills. I approached all these commitments with professionalism and a desire to make a positive impact. I promise to approach our sessions the same way, so that you can go into the SAT feeling confident in your ability to achieve a great result! I will always come well prepared, and I am committed to helping you make the most out of your time in our sessions.

In high school, I self-studied my way to a 1580 SAT score by following a consistent study schedule, developing effective time management strategies, and deepening my knowledge of what skills the exam tests. As a tutor, I would help you understand different question types, discover test-taking strategies that work for YOU, and walk you throw practice questions. I am a very patient and encouraging person, and I truly want to help you achieve the best score possible on this exam!
