About Rachel
I am a 16 year old student-athlete who enjoys helping others excel in academics. I'm very friendly and will take the time needed in order for someone to grasp a concept. I'm understanding and thorough when I explain a concept to someone else. I am hard working and have very good time management when juggling my academics, sports, and other outside activities. I have tutored several younger children at my middle school in 8th grade.

My teaching method is first evaluating their current skill level, then we go from there. I make sure the student grasps the simpler concepts in order to excel in the hard concepts. I love seeing the children I tutor excel in the topics I taught them. I can go as slow as the student needs. I don't rush the information because I feel like it doesn't retain if you go fast pace. I can adapt to your child's learning style as well such as flash cards or visual studies.
