About Susan
Hello, my name is Susan. Typically people see my name and then, to their surprise, see that I'm actually a 17 year old black A level student. Gets them every time! Growing up in a black household, I was brought up constantly being held to the highest of standards which was and is tough but worth it, at the end of the day. It's simple yet effective and it'll ensure you stay engaged instead of during pretty eyes on your paper. We revise/learn the pertinent content then we do practice questions.
Practice questions, practice questions, practice what? Questions- YOU KNOW IT. That's my method. By actively utilising the knowledge you'd have just learnt, we can suss out whether or not you fully understand it and if you don't, we go again, learning and doing questions until you can do it in your sleep. This yields a very high level of accuracy which, goes without saying, is utterly essential in exams. Furthermore, I believe that through this active engagement of the student, they become less easily disengaged, remain more focused and, hopefully, less bored throughout the session. I know from personal experience that tutors talking at you for an hour can bore the life out of you and cause you to not engage with the work in front of you, wasting your money and, more importantly, time. This is why I implement my method. It works and works well.
