About Andy
I have been a full-time primary teacher since 2015, and prior to that I was a researcher & teacher at Glasgow University. I am quick to build positive and respectful relationships with all young people and love to see their smiles and confidence grow when they realise they've achieved a new step in their learning. With over 10 years teaching experience, I boost children's curiosity and confidence to help them thrive. Whether a child is finding something particularly tricky, needs extra challenge or simply needs help with homework, I make sure every session is a fun, supportive and positive experience. In-person sessions work best and can be 45 mins or 1 hr depending on how many subjects are covered in a session. I tutor all primary-aged children and will tutor maths up to S3.
