About Amelia
I’m an international student from Singapore who has undergone a rigorous education system that has taught me skills that allow me to answer tricky questions and look out for patterns in papers.
I have since sat for Singapore-based exams, the American SAT as well as international entrance tests like ISAT as well to gain entry into medical school.

What I first usually suggest is to see past papers the students have done to determine weaker topics. From there, we can work using their individual school curriculum to improve these topics. I would go though how to understand and breakdown such topics and then do a question with them followed by allowing them to attend the question on their own. If they are still unable to, I will ask them to explain which part they were stuck at and from there tailor my teaching to their specific needs.
The current Year 4 student I am teaching has improved his math from a Band 2 to a Band 1 and the Year 3 student I am teaching currently has special needs and I am able to cope with any specialised learning necessary. My most recent Year 6 student managed to improve her Maths from 36% to 64%, her English from 46% to 73% and her Science from 39% to 78%.
