About Jamila
I'm originally from the UK and recently moved to New Zealand. I've always been passionate about working in education because I have a natural way of helping children understand things more clearly and feel more confident in their learning. I've worked with students of all ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs, as I strongly believe every child deserves the same opportunities to succeed. I'm here to offer support, encouragement, and to lift any worries your child may have when it comes to their studies—especially in a subject like math that can often feel overwhelming.

I offer supportive and tailored maths tutoring for all school levels, helping students build confidence and understanding at their own pace. My approach is calm, patient, and adaptable to different learning styles, with each lesson typically lasting an hour. I hold GCSEs in Maths and English, A-Levels in English and Economics, and have worked in UK secondary schools as well as tuition centres, giving me valuable experience supporting a wide range of learners.
