I am a first-year environmental science student looking to gain experience teaching geography with the hope of helping students feel more confident when taking their exams. I am happy to offer flexible lessons tailored to specific areas someone needs extra support on. I would start each lesson focusing on the topic's key principles to ensure a strong basic understanding before reviewing case studies and examples to build upon this knowledge. Where appropriate, I will conclude each teaching area with exam practice and exam techniques for answering exam-style questions. I achieved a B grade in my A level last summer and, throughout my time in sixth form, helped out younger years with revision and homework. My lessons will be for year 12 and 13 students studying Edexcel Geography and studying the optional topics; coasts, regeneration or health, human rights and intervention. The lessons would typically be between 40 minutes to an hour but they could run for longer if required.
