I am a final-year university student in mathematics. I have tutored younger family members to top grades in both primary and secondary school mathematics (up to and including Higher/A-level) and I would like to pass that success on to more prospective students.

For some reason, mathematics as a subject has been unfairly maligned as the "difficult" subject of academia, alongside the harder sciences like chemistry and physics. However, I maintain that the major reason for that is due to a lack of interest in the way maths is taught in school curricula. In my tutoring, I strive to approach mathematics in as practical a way as possible, looking for ways to ignite and sustain interest as, in my opinion, only with interest, can there be learning and understanding.
