About Jade
My passion for Mathematics began with an appreciation for its structure, logic, and ability to explain complex ideas with precision. I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, where I explored theoretical concepts alongside real-world applications. Over 13 years of teaching, I have supported students of varied abilities, helping them overcome fear and build lasting confidence.
I believe effective Math teaching requires patience, clarity, and encouragement. Many learners struggle with self-doubt, so I focus on creating a supportive environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities. I adapt explanations to individual learning styles, ensuring students feel understood and capable rather than rushed or judged.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with Mathematics through problem-solving practice, applied research reading, and educational development. These experiences continually refine my teaching approach. Teaching Mathematics is fulfilling because I see students transform their mindset, realizing they can think logically and solve challenging problems with confidence and persistence.

Mathematics becomes less intimidating when students understand the logic that connects concepts rather than focusing only on procedures. My lessons emphasize building strong foundations in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics through structured explanation and guided reasoning. I help learners recognize patterns, understand relationships, and develop confidence in approaching problems methodically. Each lesson is paced carefully to ensure clarity and reduce anxiety.
Lesson structure is customized according to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on core operations, number sense, and foundational problem-solving strategies. Intermediate learners strengthen algebraic manipulation, graphical interpretation, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced learners work on calculus concepts, proofs, exam techniques, and applied problem solving. Practice questions, explanation breakdowns, and error analysis are essential components of every lesson.
