About Cory
I love math and I'm good at it. I love teaching and I'm good at it. I especially love tutoring math, and I'm good at that, too. My experience tutoring math comes from working at a tutoring center and online tutoring.
I have a background in math and computer science. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Champlain College. Along the way, I got A's in Pre-calculus, Calculus 1 (differential), 2 (Integral), and 3 (multivariate), Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, and Statistics.

I first ask the student what they already know and whether they know how to start. Then I gently push them in the right direction while giving minimal hints so they can discover for themselves as much as possible. I may provide example problems and solutions if they don’t understand. I’m very patient. I care about my students learning, gaining confidence, and feeling good about it.
