About Justin
I am currently working on my master's in Behavioural Economics, but I was a University TA for college-level Micro and Macro Economics while in college, and I have tutored over 50 high school students in Florida in AP Economics. In China, I taught for two years at a high level international school as their primary economics teacher and prepared my students for US colleges.
I currently work as a manager for DoorDash Operations but I have a flexible schedule so I can work with a variety of schedule requirements!

To begin I will ask the questions: What is the reason for the tutoring? Is it an upcoming test, a unit you are struggling to understand or did you fail a test and want to better prepare for the next test?
Once I know the area of discussion, from there I will begin by quickly going through the basics; too many people will skip the basics and try to teach the complex areas of economics first. Once we have covered the basics I apply real-world situations, to help the complex concepts come to light and make more sense. By showing how it applies to the real world a lot of students who previously were struggling to wrap their heads around a subject can understand how it really works!
My students normally find that my classes are easy to understand and very engaging. I can apply the topics to areas they are interested in (sports, politics, movies all have great examples of economics!). This helps make sure they enjoy the class while still learning.
