I take a "why" based approach to teaching. Many people struggle with math because they're taught to memorize formulas and go through the motions - I go beyond that and make sure the student understands why the methods work and why it matters.
I ask that you let me know what you want to learn or work on at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session so that I can prepare a personalized lesson plan.
