About Henry

I have 4 years' classroom teaching experience (Chinese and French) and well over 1000 hours' (5 years') tutoring experience, teaching a range of subjects from Year 4 to University level.

For 2.5 years I have also worked as an Education Consultant. I provide academic assessment reports, advise families on school selection, accompany families on school tours, organise extra-curricular activities for students and translate marketing material into Mandarin for education agencies.

I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Chinese with Japanese. I then taught Chinese and French full-time at a secondary school in London for 18 months. Since then, I have been tutoring full-time.

I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Chinese with Japanese. I then qualified as a secondary school teacher and taught Chinese and French for 4 years. Since then, I have been tutoring full-time and have well over 1000 hours' experience.

I teach a range of subjects but specialise in languages, 11+ and 13+ school entrance exams preparation. 11 A*s in the following GCSEs: English Literature, English Language, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, Latin and Religious Studies.

I live in Battersea but am willing to travel.

I tutor full-time so am very flexible, including during school holidays.

I teach students from Year 4 to University level, depending on the subject. Beyond GCSE, I can teach Chinese and Japanese.

I have extensive experience tutoring online, and tend to use Skype as the means for doing this. I have several alternatives for overseas students such as BOTIM, IMO and Zoom.

- How much do you charge?

£50 per hour, £55 for GCSE, £60 for A Level, £65 for University preparation, £70 for undergraduate level.
I charge £10 extra for any Mandarin tuition up to A Level.

- Where do you teach?

I live in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, but am willing to travel to neighbouring boroughs.
