About Meera
I started tutoring students in math when I was in 5th grade. Since then, I have tutored a number of younger students in the subject. My patience and knowledge in the math department allows me to work with students at various levels and I always try my hardest to make sure students understand the concept and not just the problem. As a student myself, I know how important time is. As a tutor, I make sure that I am prepared with any materials and resources that my student may need to be successful. This also goes for teaching younger students and seniors who are looking to apply to colleges.

As someone who loves working with students, I am very flexible when it comes with working with different techniques when it comes to teaching. In math, I show students how to get through a problem step-by-step, asking them questions and giving them 1/2 more problems to ensure their understanding of the topic. These math sessions are best for students taking basic math classes all the way up to algebra 2. I have also worked with younger students before and can tutor grades k-5. For students that are applying to colleges, I am happy to help them with the application process and aid them in wiring their essays, as the process is still fresh to me!
